It has books you can preview and buy, free-to-read stories, blog posts and essays, odd things, strange things, links to music, art, and internet curios, games and gimcracks to waste your time withal.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/birdandocean.com\/studio\/\">So simply have a look around &#8230;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list_deepteal\">\n<li>A little more deeply\n<ul>\n<li><strong>It&#8217;s an artist\u2019s studio and publishing site.<\/strong> Enjoy the site the way you might enjoy visiting the studio of an artist, a place where paintings and unfinished sculptures litter the floor, the tables, even the chairs and sofas, palette knives, chisels, lumps of clay, brushes and pots of paint lie all around in a mess of creative chaos, figurines, Chinese seals, hand-carved rosary beads, all kinds of small treasures lie hidden in corners or buried under scraps of canvas.<\/li>\n<li>Much of the work is light, easy to read and enjoy.<\/li>\n<li>A lot is experimental. There are many sketches and studies, short and long explorations of craft and theory.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2 seasons:&nbsp;<\/strong> The site has an in-season period (late August-September), and an out-of-season period. In season I\u2019ll publish a batch of new content each week.
